Workshop Day 1 - Thursday 11th: Theory in Microphone Technology and Recording Techniques before noon. In the afternoon, the participants created recordings by themselves at home, in the village and at the festivalground.
Workshop Day 2 - Friday 12th: Granular Synthesis session with Granulab 1.5 before noon. Everyone created a patch based on a recording by James.- We installed Traction 7 and the software could be introduced to a few. Then we went to the funeral to record the speeches and music of the festival.
Workshop Day 3 - Saturday 13th: No electricity in the whole district. As long as the laptop battery stopped, I explained time stretching with the Paul Stretch software. Then theory in Digital Audio and then we ended the electricity"less" session to discuss our final presentation on Tuesday.
Workshop Day 4 - Monday 15th: Plan for Monday is to edit and arrange all recordings into music pieces.
Workshop Day 5 - Thuesday 16th: Finishing our tunes. In the evening at the end of Harbour Road we will present our workshop results to the people of Sinazongwe.
